Insufficient heating of rocks
Cause: Rocks not heated long enough or to adequate temperature
Fix: Use volcanic rocks, heat for minimum 2 hours in fire, test with water splash (should instantly vaporize)
Steam leakage
Cause: Improper sealing of the pit with earth
Fix: Create tight seal with damp cloths first, then layer with at least 30cm of compacted soil
