Dissolve jello (any flavor) in 9 cups water. Combine 4 cups sugar in 4 cups water; bring to a boil. Add jello mixture and cool. When cool, add 16 ounces lemon juice and 2 cans pineapple juice. Mix well and freeze. Before serving, add 2 bottles of ginger ale or 7-Up. Serves 40 to 50 people.
