Technical
Anaerobic digestion at mesophilic temperatures (55–65 °C) converts complex organics into methane and CO₂, with microbial consortia breaking down cellulose and proteins. The resulting digestate, rich in nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, is composted under controlled temperature to stabilize nutrients. In parallel, hydroponic recirculation maintains a 18–22 °C nutrient solution at pH 5.5–6.5, enabling plant uptake and microbial protein degradation, which is extracted at 70–80 °C to isolate protein concentrates.
