1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. Angle Flake coconut
1 c. chopped nuts
5 egg whites, beaten

Cream margarine and shortening. Add sugar and beat until smooth. Add egg yolks and beat well. Combine flour and soda and add to creamed mixture. Add alternately with buttermilk. Stir in vanilla. Add coconut and nuts. Fold in egg whites. Bake in 3 layers at 350° for 25 minutes. Frost with Cream Cheese Frosting.
